Bruce Ross formed Principle Trucking Ltd. in July 1996 after spending 26 years working in the local transportation industry. From modest beginnings with one picker and one trailer, the company has been grown aggressively to include a modern fleet of power units, accompanying trailers, rental equipment, and an expansive yard conveniently located on the edge of the city. Further to this, our organization has developed a cohesive group of people with the combined backgrounds to offer superior service at competitive prices.

In July 2007, Principle Trucking Ltd. will celebrate its eleventh year providing specialized transportation services to the oil and gas industry in British Columbia and Alberta. Since 1996, Principle has acquired a number of highly specialized pieces of equipment that make it possible to tackle more complicated work and to get ordinary jobs completed in a safer and more efficient manner than many other service providers. For transportation services, trucks are equipped with versatile texas rigging to quickly shuttle lighter loads like cement bins from job to job. A variety of different sizes of trucks and equipment are used to suit each job perfectly: bed trucks from single axle to tandem-tandem up to 370 inch. Pickers up to 42 ton, winch tractors, gravel trucks, tri-drives, a wide variety of trailers including omahas, high and low-boys with a variety of axle configurations, tank trucks, hot shot trucks, pilot cars, and comfortable crew trucks for moving people make it possible for us to transport safely and efficiently. The majority of Principle’s trucking and transportation work is made up of service rig moves, tank and cement bin deliveries, and a variety of general oilfield equipment, but we have extensive experience moving all types of oilfield related equipment.

In addition to transportation services, Principle offers oilfield rental equipment to help keep your projects on schedule. Plastic rig mats with the crews and equipment to install and remove them, steel mats, light plants, sea-cans, catwalks, and Cat IT-28 front end loaders are some of our most frequently rented items. Grading services are available to keep lease roads and locations smooth and even and clear of snow in the winter. Open space for staging rigs or equipment, warehousing, an office and a shop in our large operations yard located at the south edge of Fort St. John is available to rent on a temporary or long-term basis to facilitate your operations.
